Quetzaltenango Department

Quetzaltenango department (see map) resides the southwest part of Guatemala, not too far from the coast. It borders Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez departments to the east; Retalhuleu department to the south; San Marcos department to the west; and Huehuetenango department to the north.
