Para District

The Para district (see map) shares a border with the Marowijne district to the east; Sipaliwini district to the southeast & southwest; Brokopondo district to the south; and Saramacca, Wanica and Commewijne districts to the north.

The capital of Para is Onverwacht, and the district is divided into five resorts: Bigi - Poika - Carolina - Noord - Oost Zuid.
